I've been going to haunted houses for years.
I went to this house last year and was pretty impressed.
Unfortunately, I tried to go tonight (Saturday the 14th) and arrived at 11pm. Upon pulling into the parking lot, I was stopped by security and told "Sorry folks, we're sold out for the night." It clearly states on this haunt's website "Open dusk till midnight". Additionally, while leaving I noticed there were ronly 10 cars in the parking lot.
Thanks for wasting our time!
I will make sure none of my friends make the trip to attend this haunt.

You always have to go to FOC early because they sell out before midnight. On Friday's and Saturdays you have to wait in line for over 2 hours to get in, if you get there any time past around 8. It's not field of corpses fault that you got there too late to buy tickets. They close at 12 and the lines last forever, so they have to close ticket sales early because then they'd have to be open till the morning.
It's a really good haunted house though. I went on opening night and it was awesome. I bought tickets last friday but didn't wait in line cause it was over 2 hours. So i still have to go sometime this week.

Your being bitter. Your mad because they were sold out. Did you take into consideration the other parking lot? or how many people were in line? It takes close to a half hour to go through, maybe more. Now you can go cry, or man up and go back. If you keep selling tickets until 12 then that means it doesn't close till close to 1, so by stopping the selling of tickets at 11, they can then let all the workers out by 12 or 12:30. so quit crying.

Then they should advertise that their closing time is 11. Every other haunt that I have been to continues to sell tickets right up until the time that they say they are closing and then stay open until everyone is through.

I waited in the long line and it was amazing. This was my fifth house this year and BY FAR THE BEST. Yes the line was long but well worth it. I thought all staff and actors where great...thanks FOC
I loved it and this person is a retard. It is obvious if your haunted house is one of the best, you might want to show up a little early....not 11:00. I new it was highly rated and showed up at 8:00 and still waited for over an hour....It was money well spent....Love it. Great actors and entire staff. Show up early and it is worth it

check my review in this same forum, the exact same thing happened to me and live on the opposite side of town. needless to say the trip was a real pisser. this house is a joke, and should take their ads down if they're going to close 2 hours before they advertise!!
Yeah i deff. feel the same way and i was there at 10 ??? SOLD OUT OF TICKETS????? WTF

Alot of people go at 8 . I started at 730 last night so I could hit as many as I could. Nothing wrong with that at all. Alot of people come to scream park at 11pm and get made cause we shut down. We stay open and sell tickets till 10 or 11 depending on day then stop. But remain there till all are sent through both houses.

I can understand being upset having made the trip and not been able to get in, but its no reason to deem it a terrible haunt and try to get everyone you know to boycott it. Clearly there are a lot of people who are satisfied, even impressed, with thier experience at Field of Corpses. I think that Tye makes a good point, FOC should advertise either an ealier closing time or state clearly (I haven't ventured to the site) that they sell out early. On the other hand I think its wise that FOC limits the number of people who go through. I know the timing of this Haunt was better than any other I'd experienced and I did not once run into another group, which is a big plus in my book. I'm thankful that FOC doesn't try to cram more people and ruin the experience for everyone, even if two hours it a pretty killer wait. Atleast they've got a movie screen to view...

I think that they are justified in these comments, it's unfortunate that these problems have not been addressed 2 years later. It's been noted that I was disappointed by these exact experiences and they still exist. I may very well send message to FoC themselves to offere constructive criticism on how to fix this, unfortunately the last time I tried my calls were never acknowledged or returned.

As I said in my review earlier, I did enjoy the house, the actors, and the plenty of surprizes, but there is more to it than just getting scared out of your shorts. When you pay for you admission, you become a guest of the haunt and should be treated as such!! and when I was there I witnessed rude security personel trying to pick up on some girls who where clearly not interested which promted the security guard to become very rude and obnoxious towards the young ladies, I went to the concession stand and wanted to get myself and my wife something warm to drink and was told that they aren't going to be serving anymore tonight because they ran out of hot cider but I was more than welcome to purchase vip tickets so I can get through sooner and go get something at a resturaunt. The wait to get in was very long and no-one would answer any question about how much longer the wait will be or if they would at least increase the size of groups going in by a few people more or start sending them in sooner. I was not the one asking those questions, everyone else around us was and the complaints got more frequent and louder as the night went on. The overall experince while waiting to get into the attraction was bad and that is what most people are going to remember. If this sounds like a critics reveiw it is not meant to be. I am just a life long fan of haunted houses and I am no spring chicken. However I am a critic at large for a different venue and do have insight on what poeple are looking for and what they expect for their money!!! Once again BRAVO to the actors, they all did n outstanding job. FYI there is more to the experience than just being surpised by the actors.

Thanks fearfan for actually providing a useful review. Most lately have been "This haunt sucked" or "I work at this haunt and it is the best," your's actually provided some content and gave both positives and negatives.

Woah I'm totally remiss in replying to you Tye, Sorry!
Anyway yes it was with haunted Denver and I'm sure people try harder when we're around, but that said I did run into other groups in many other haunts with Haunted Denver. We had to stop and wait for groups to get ahead of us in no less than three places. And its not always the worst experience. My favorite haunt of the season we ran into people, but it was because they were too scared to go on and they asked us to go ahead of them.
